Pitch of EMC2 LVTTL IO port connector

Postby Ananya.Muddukrishna » Fri Jul 07, 2017 11:13 am

Hi,

What is the pitch of the connector for the LVTTL IO port?

General purpose jumper wires designed for 2.54 mm pitch dont hold onto the LVTTL port strongly.

Best regards,
Ananya

Hi Ananya,

Same measures than JTAG.

Page 9 you can see the exact numbers

The header on the board is 2mm pitch, not 0.1” (Or 2.54mm) which is why the “Standard 2.54mm” wires wouldn’t fit properly.

Depending what is needed to do, there are wires out there that go from 2mm to 0.1”:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/c7h/sourcing ... Y0PTFEEA9Y
(for example)

I’m sure that there are also wires cheaply available that just have 2mm crimps (in some form of housing) on one end.

Sundance would be able to make up any cable required, but the cost would be significantly higher than the above cables.

Excellent information. Thanks!

I will get those 2-2.54 converter wires.

Note to myself: Never spend half-an-hour of precious life trying to force squeeze 2.54 mm crimps to 2 mm. :D
