PIN selection for Ultrascale +
With the update from 7030 to Ultrascale the Banks of the FPGA and their Pins changed. I there an updated sheet? I want to add a UART emio and I am wondering about the new pins! Re: Using the USB port
Thank you Timoteo,
it was a problem with Petalinux and the USB port.
I managed it by changing the device-tree.
Regards,
Sebastian

Re: Using the USB port
Thanks for your help,
but how to enable the U10?
Is it enabled by Vivado or SDK?
Or do you mean the JP5?

Using the USB port
Hey, did anyone use the USB Port successfully? I want to use it for an wifi dongle or an input-port. "lsusb" in Petalinux doesn't show any output. http://www.wiki.xilinx.com/Zynq+Linux+USB+Device+Driver Do I have to change the "Device-tree" or/and is it necessary to enable someth...

Re: UART Connection to UAV
In the Design Specification it it said: http://www.sundance.technology/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/EMC2-DP-Design-Specification-QCF51-v3-4.pdf 4.12 TTL I/O An 8 pin 2mm dual-in-line connector allows direct access to 4 SoC I/O pins. These have ESD (overvoltage and under-voltage) protection. These pins...

Re: UART Connection to UAV
Thank you for your reply! The UART-USB I need for viewing my output, so I would prefer RS232 or LVTTL. Is it right that LVTTL only supports 1,8V (so my UART Device with 3.3V would damage my FPGA? Therefore I have to use the RS232 UART...where can I find(buy) the male connector to that port? Do I nee...

UART Connection to UAV
Hello,
I need to connect the EMC2 to a flight controller with UART (RX TX GND). I am a bit confused with the datasheet, there is one UART but it is already connected to the RS232 USB connector. And there is also a LVTTL port. What should I or can I use?
Thanks,
Sebastian

Re: Booting from SD
Solved!
I don't know why, but when I changed the Jumpers JP7/JP8 to 1.8 Volt everything worked fine.
Thank you.

Sebastian

Re: Booting from SD
Thank you for your reply Emilie!
There is nothing in Putty, only a black screen, because it's not possible to connect the board before it's booting.
The LEDs change in the booting process?
Maybe I should try JTAG.

Booting from SD
2 weeks before I didn't had any problems with the boot of an Petalinux image. I formatted the SD card and copied the image back, but now it's not working. Fat32 is sufficient? Are there any known problems with the size of an SD Card? Is it possible to see if the board is booting? Thanks for your hel...
